At Petite Femme, our first priority is to produce beautiful garments of the finest quality. We’ve nurtured long-term relationships with reputable makers who share our values of high quality workmanship and responsible practice.

All of our garments begin as intentional designs in Melbourne, Australia, where we work closely with a local pattern maker and seamstress to develop prototypes and achieve the perfect petite fit. We then send our designs to an ethical manufacturer in Huzhou, China, where they are responsibly made in small batches with meticulous attention to detail.

Our manufacturing partner in Huzhou specialises in high-end women’s tailoring and knitwear, and are highly skilled in handling luxury eco-textiles such as silk and modal. The factory holds BSCI, ISO 9001:2000 and WRAP certifications that verify consistent quality standards and compliance with international labour conventions.

At every stage of our business operations, we seek to engage suppliers who share our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. We only work with suppliers who pay their workers a fair wage and appropriate entitlements. Our Code of Conduct sets forth the minimum workplace standards that we expect from our suppliers and makers.
