Collecting your personal information

When you visit, use or navigate the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device ("Device Information") using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags or pixels. The data collected includes information about your IP address, web browser, operating system, language preferences, country, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Device Information is shared with our processor Shopify for the purpose of loading the Site accurately for you, and to maintain and optimise the operation of our Site.  

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you contact us for information about our products and Services ("Customer Information"), or when you make a purchase on our Site ("Order Information").

When you register on our Site, subscribe to our mailing list, contact us via form submission, place an order or attempt to place an order through the Site, we collect information from you which may include the following:

Personally identifying information provided by you: We collect your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, payment information, phone number, contact preferences, usernames, passwords, and other similar information. 

Payment data: We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make a purchase, such as your payment instrument number (such as credit card number). When we refer to "Personal Information" in this Policy, we are collectively referring to Device Information, Order Information and Customer Information.

Using your personal information

We use your Personal information to provide the best service to you, which includes:

  • Fulfilling, managing and shipping your orders, including processing your payments, returns and exchanges through the Site.
  • Respond to enquiries and solving any potential issues you may have with the use of our Products and Services.

    Petite Femme does not sell or trade your Personal Information.

    We engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

    Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

    Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

    • Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
    • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.

    Cookies

    Cookies are small data files that a site transfers to your computer or device through your browser when you visit a website. Cookies enable the site to recognise your browser and capture certain information.
