At Petite Femme, we believe you should know what you're paying for so that you can better understand the value of the products you buy, and the materials and labour that go into making them. We have broken down our prices on each product page according to the structure below.

MATERIALS — The total cost of the fabric, trims (e.g. buttons, zippers, elastic) and labels required to produce the garment.

LABOUR — The price we pay our manufacturers to produce one unit. This cost varies depending on the complexity of the garment and does not include the cost of patternmaking and sampling.

PACKAGING & LOGISTICS — The cost of transportation, packaging and other miscellaneous costs.

OVERHEAD COSTS — The ongoing expenses related to the day-to-day operation of our business, including running our website, marketing and wages. This also includes the cost of designing and sampling our products. Our markup allows us to pay our employees and contractors a fair wage and invest in future product development.

GST — We pay 10% Goods and Services Tax as an Australian-owned business.

DONATION TO CHARITY — As part of our commitment to giving back, we donate a portion of our sales to social initiatives that enable women around the world.
